Backstory
It is sometime in the early 2000s. All is fine on earth, with advances in science and technology ushering in a new age, although the world is moderately indifferent from its current state. The enhancing of Virtual reality has dramatically changed the world, although new things were also created in the process of this expanse. Simple AI programs went undercover. They hid, creating their own world within our technology. Some classed them as the first Super bugs, as monsters on the network. After a few rounds of extermination, they seemed to disappear.
They learned and adapted, forming vast voids in the data of the world, unknown and unseen by all but a few. These few simply observed their goings, sometimes offering in more data to be assimilated into the newly formed world. For some reason, many met grisly fates, and fearing for their lives, the others stopped, or want further undercover, to try and hide. Their digital monsters had grown out of control. They locked down the world, hoping to prevent its spread, and keep the Pandora's Box closed. This was all fine and swell, and the world forgot about the digital world.
But now, the mature world is slowly reopening, changing modern devices, and bringing children in to change it in some way. What threat unfolded within, and what does the new world contain? No one can be certain, other than the chosen children who drift between the worlds.
You are one of these Digidestined. How do you use your newfound power? How will you change this world, all to yourself? Will you hear out its pleas? Or will you bring it to its knees before you? What will happen when you realize you aren't the only human? Will you fight? Will you join forces?
